Creag Choinnich Hill Race Results and Report
Jun 24, 2017

32 runners braved some damp weather at Creag Choinnich - Britains oldest recorded hill race, dating back to the year 1064!

Dan Whitehead led the charge from a strong Deeside Runners turnout narrowly beating Alistair Walker who literally dived for the line. Stephanie Provan was first lady ahead of Clare Whitehead.

It was nice to see a range of nationalities amongst the runners including English, Americans and Mexicans who appreciated being piped to the start and from the summit as well as the post race refreshments in the grand surroundings of Braemar Castle dining room.
