| The 21st World Masters Mountain Running Championship took place in Clonmel, Ireland on Sat 3rd September and lots of Scots took part (although running for GB).
Among Scots who did well, the stand out performances were from Andrew Douglas, who won the M35 category by 4 mins (!) and Colin Donnelly who was 2nd in the M60, only beaten by an Italian nearly 3 years younger (and Colin also beat all the M55s).
Other Scots well placed were Stewart Whitlie, 3rd in M60; Susan Ridley 4th in W55; Michael Reid 4th in M45; Don Naylor 5th in M50 and Des Crowe 5th in M60.
