We're already half way through the championship and the way the races have fallen this year means we've had a race of each category.
There wasn't a massive field at Arrochar in the end, which means there were a lot of points on offer for those that did it. Definitely helpful for the older runners who finished. The race resulted in Robin Downie (Lochaber) taking the lead in the Senior Men's from Dan Dry (Shettleston), while in the Senior Women's the two Ella's from Westerlands have the first two places (with Peters leading from Foreman) with equal third place being the two Shettleson runners of CJ Macphail and Zoƫ Barber. All categories are still, of course, very open.
What hasn't changed with the results of Arrochar is that the same clubs are leading the team categories with four different clubs in front of the four categories: Carnethy leading the Senior Men; Shettleston the Over 40 Men; Westerlands are dominating the Senior Women while Lochaber are leading the Over 40 Women.
The 2024 tables after three races are here for men and here for women.
