Impressive performances from the juniors at Falkland on Saturday as Angus Wright (Edinburgh University) took the outright win with Rowan Taylor (Lasswade) in 2nd and Zico Field (Gala) in 6th. Isla Paterson (Gala) was 2nd woman overall but took maximum league points as first u20 woman.
All this means that Angus leads the league for the men from Rowan in 2nd and Isla leapfrogs Rachel Giffen (Springburn) to lead the league going into the Cademuir Rollercoaster on 11th August.
It could be a decisive race in all the league categories as it carries an extra 10 bonus points for all finishers.

And if that isn't enough of an incentive, it's also the trial race for international selection for the Scotland teams to go to Ireland in September for the Junior Home International. Men's and Women's Teams of 4 at U17 and U20 will be selected after Cademuir with the first 2 past the post sure of selection.
