At the Kirk Craig's Christmas Cracker Hill Race, the bad-weather route was brought into play due to the unfavourable weather conditions. This alternative course was shorter as the more exposed parts of the course were not used, there was also less ascent. That said, the race was still challenging and the eighty-nine determined runners who had a great day regardless of the length of the race.
Harris Pagget, Strathearn Harriers and Ella Peters of Westerlands took top spots.
