Greenmantle Dash 2025 – race report

A total of 90 runners enjoyed the crisp, sunny weather at this year’s Greenmantle Dash in Broughton. We also had 11 hardy juniors doing the fun run through the icy burn. The senior race was also treated to an impromptu sheep conga line, adding to usual obstacles of rivers, boggy fields, ice and steep incline/declines!

Congratulations to our race winners Ali Masson and Grace Pow (both Carnethy Hill Running Club). The Michael Greens Trophy (awarded to the runner who best embodies the spirit of our late club mate) was awarded to Finlay Smith this year for forgetting to bring his race number to the start, something Michael did more than once!

We will donate £170 each to Tweed Valley Mountain Rescue and Youth Vision - Thank you to everyone who came to run, support or help this year.
