6th Sept has been picked as a provisional rearranged date for the Lairig Ghru race.

A note has been sent to the entered runners to let them know and full details of logistics will follow.

The race organisers have undertaken a rigorous risk assessment and believe it possible, given the existing guidelines, to organise the race in a manner that limits contact and allows folks to have a decent race.

Essentially wave starts and registration with a dedicated registration/wave start time for all competitors allied to a capped entry to minimise the amount of people in Braemar at any one point in time, no bus transport back from Aviemore and no refreshments/prizegiving so there is no congregation of people in Aviemore.

Any changes to the published guidelines will be adhered to and the organisers are prepared to cancel the event at short notice.
