Both the female and the male course records were broken by not only the first placed female and male but by the second placed runner in both sexes too and this lead to some competitive racing. Grace Pow (Edinburgh University Hare and Hounds) was first female with Lorna Hellam (Hartfell Hill running club) close behind her. In the males, Adam Park (Hartfell Hill Running Club) managed to hold off Marc Wilkinson (Lauderdale Limpers Running Club) to claim first male home.

The club raised a total of £222.40 for Dumfries and Galloway Wheelchair Track Athletics, who earlier this year had their portacabin burnt down in a arson attack with all their equipment in.
