There were some excellent Scottish results in the British Relay Championships, held near Tebay on Sat 1th October.
The stand out performance was a magnificent 1st place by Carnethy Senior Men who became British Champions, beating Dark Peak into second place by over 2 minutes. Other good Scottish results were Edinburgh Uni 8th and Shettleston 9th.
In the Senior women, it was Edinburgh Uni who made the podium in 3rd place, behind Helm Hill and Ambleside, with Carnethy women 4th, Hunters Bog Trotters 6th and Shettleson 11th
In the Men's Over 40, Carnethy finished second behind Calder Valley, with Shettleston in 3rd.
Westerlands made the podium in the Men's Over 60s with 3rd place.
And a special note for Deeside Runners who won the mixed race category in the club's first outing at the relays in over a decade.
