Red Moss Kips evening race – Wed 8-June 2022 – 7.30pm start time -  online entries open now – no entries on the day

£8 ( or £10 if not Scottish athletics member) , race run under Scottish Athletics race licence

-          Race entry fee includes £3 per runner donation to ‘Friends of the Pentlands’ for maintenance of paths and gates

-          And incls soup and prize giving at Grey Horse Inn , in Balerno village after the race

Same course and arrangements as last year – no parking at top car park at Red Moss – get the bus, cycle or car share to Balerno , park in Balerno village and walk / run to the start. Start is approx 2km from Balerno village so allow 20 mins to jog to registration. Registration at Red Moss car park from 6.30pm.

There will be a mass start this year at 7.30pm, but I will do an early wave for the V70+ runners and any other slower runners who would like an early start at 7.15pm – if you want an early start tell us at registration on the day when you pick up your timing chip.

Even if it is a sunny evening you still need to carry the mandatory safety kit – full body cover, map and compass ( this is a compulsory insurance requirement) – no kit, no race
