The race was run in almost perfect condition, an overnight frost froze the ground to make underfoot condition firm, with bright sunlight for the runners to run under.
Ritchie from Solway OC came in first with a great time of 31:59 minutes, but Lorna Mae Hellam HHRC took over 2 minutes off her own course record in a time of 34:47 which secured her 1st female and 3rd overall, Her super running continues.
At Station house afterwards a feast of hot casseroles to suit all tastes along with many delicious homemade cakes was provided for the runners. A big thank you to the landowners, Ian, Roger, Nigel, Paul, Louise for their assistance on making the race run smoothly and Kev Plummer from Precision Race Timing Scotland for the chip race timing.
