Cademuir Rollercoaster JHI trial race
Wins for Emi Daunt (Edinburgh) and Murray Learmond (Moorfoots) in the U13s 3km race, and Holly Simpson (Giffnock) and Josh Daunt (Edinburgh) in the U15s over the same distance. Holly's time of 13.35 sets a new record for U15 girls on this course.
In the 6km event, Rowan Taylor of Lasswade was the overall winner, despite being an under 17 runner with Tom Hilton (Moorfoots) finishing 20 seconds back as the first U20M. First U20W was Lizzie Welsted of Colchester with Rachel Giffen of Springburn the first Scot home in that category. First U17W was Katie Meek of Inverness Harriers, having made the long journey South the day before.

With 6 rounds gone, the league standings are really starting to take shape but it's still all to play for in all categories going into the last two races especially with the second of our double-points races coming up at Creag Bheag. It's great to see that 25 athletes have already taken part in the required 3 races to complete the league, with a similar number needing just one more race to do so.
