Only one race to go now, so for those who have only done three races, the final race at Merrick will be the last chance of earning a valuable SHR mug !
Most of the category leaders are now unbeatable, so Merrick will be their lap of honour. The only individual categories that are going down to the last race are the Senior Men, which has been an exciting season long battle between Alasdair Campbell (Cambuslang) and Dan Dry (Shettleston); the Women's O/55 and O/60s, in both of which, Hilary Ritchie (Fife) is leading - will she hang on or be pushed out the top spot in either or both?; the Men's O/65 - Don Reid (Westerlands) could just hang on here to beat John Tullie (Teviotdale) and finally the Men's U/23.
In the teams, both Over 40 categories have a winner. Carnethy for the men and Ochils for the women. However the senior team categories haven't been decided. The Men's is the usual Carnethy/Shettleston battle while the women's is between Carnethy and Westerlands.
Latest tables: Here for men and here for women.

P.S. due to being in Madeira at the World Masters Mountain Running Champs, there will be a delay in processing the final positions after Merrick - just to keep you all on tenterhooks!
