141 runners took part in this years race in sunny but cold and icy conditions. This didn’t stop Fife AC’s Liam Hutson delivering a new course record by almost 2 minutes, with Ralph McInally (Strathearn) and Ben Kinninmonth (Fife AC)  taking the other places. 

The ladies race was also comfortably won by Rose Penfold (Edinburgh AC), trailed by Stephanie Johnson (Kinross) and Lynsey Hay (Linlithgow AC).  Generous placing and spot prizes,  and a good feed, ensured everyone went home happy.
