There was no set fee for entering the race and people were just asked to make a donation to Moffat Mountain Rescue Team.

We had a junior race first which was organised by Katy Brown and certificates and small prizes were given to all children who took part.

In the main race, first home was Hamish Murray from Penrith (Unattached) in a time of 25.44 with as super a performance as ever by V60 Des Crowe of Penicuck Harriers in a time of 28.21 good enough for 2nd place. 3rd place went to ADAC James Taylor just 3 seconds behind Des. Katy Brown of HHRC was 4th overall and 1st female, Great climbing by her saw her in 2nd place at the summit of Hind Hill. Her time was 29.01 with second female and first V40 Marie Marshal of ADAC 45 seconds behind Katy. Third place and second V40 was Jennifer Misak of Moorfoot Runners.

Special mentions for two athletes at the two age spectrums in the race -  15 year old Finlay Mcnay and V60 Dick Wall. Great to see them both at the race.
