| The first championship race of the season was the short and fast ascent of Screel. The results in the new tables are basically the finishing positions of this race so much too early to mention many names except to say that Ella Peters has continued where she left off last year, Sasha Chepelin is flying and Colin Donnelly is amazing as he continues to defy age.
Deeside are looking good in the women's teams, leading both, and the having travelled all the way from the north-east to this short race, they are obviously keen, so worth watching. Meanwhile, in the men's teams, Carnethy turned out with a very strong squad to take an early lead in both categories, but, as ever, Shettleston are just lurking behind!
